A piece of advice...
When it comes to choosing a coach that is right for you, some things to consider include
Training and Education
Certification and Credentials
Areas of Expertise or Experience
Testimonials and Referrals
TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Member in good standing with the International Coaching Federation which requires both rigorous training and testing to confirm master in 14 coaching competencies as set fourth by the ICF, a global organization that holds coaches around the world to a uniform set of standards.
Even though a coach doesn't provide solutions, it's nice to work with a coach who has shared experiences. I've been through a few things on this earth and have prepared me to work with clients in the following areas: relationships, marriage, raising children, extended family, work/life balance, building better habits, decision making at life's crossroads, entrepreneurship, family and partner businesses, facing major illnesses or difficult diagnosis, parent of a child with cancer, transition to empty nesting, mid-life career change, feeling stuck or trapped, aging parents, grief and loss.
